Dodong or Ethan

Isang araw, nag-aabang si Inday sa kalye ng taxi para pumunta ng gym. Napuna sya ni Ethan, ang tricycle driver, na nakatambay sa kanto habang kumakain ng bananacue.
Ethan: Hi Miss Beautiful! San ka punta?
Inday: Hey Ethan! Gold’s Gym and no, I don’t want you to take me there on that shabby pedicab of yours.
Narinig sila ni Dodong na nagdidilig ng mga halaman at dali daliang iniwan ito para lumapit sa kanila.
Dodong: Inday, sino sya? Ano sya sa buhay mo?
Inday: Relax Dodong, he’s just a friend I met the other day. Ethan, this is Dodong. Dodong, this is Ethan.
Ethan: Pre! Bananacue? (inalok ang kinakaing bananacue)
Dodong: Not so nice to meet you.
Dodong: Inday, ang totoo hanggang ngayon ay umaasa parin ako na sabihin mo sa akin na ako parin. Ako nalang. Ako nalang ulit.
Inday: Dodong, oh please stop being so melodramatic. You’re making a scene and it’s getting embarrassing.
Ethan: O nga pre ano ba problema mo?
Dodong: (lumingon kay Ethan) Malaki lang ang katawan mo pero di mo ako kayang patumbahin!
Inday: Ay ambot!
Nag-walkout si Inday papalayo sa kanilang dalawa at sumakay na rin ng taxi.
Ethan: (sabi kay Dodong) Pre, medyo kahawig mo si John Lloyd pag lumalaki butas ng ilong mo.
Uuuy… mukhang may magkikiss and make up mamaya…

denZ, I reiterate for your deaf ears’ sake:
“This is outrageous! You infidels, Inday’s life was publicized to uplift the staggering reputation of the Filipino chambermaids, and it is very effective. Do not run amok saying that her proficiency towards the English language consequently proves to be detrimental to the National language and even to the morale of the Filipino countrymen because you do not have any empirical evidences to actually buffer your claim. On the contrary, it has already been achieving its predetermined objective plus even more benefits since I, for one, feel this subtle tug of confidence in our Motherland, knowing that there still are Filipinos to the likes of Inday that are able proliferate the English fervor in sheer perfection without compromising their primordial, socio-cultural background as how Inday does it. Considering the status quo, your claims remain only as such. Long live Inday!”

Anu b naman tong gumawa ng blog n to! Dapat gamitin mo si inday para magsalita ng sariling wika natin… hindi kamot nkakapagenglish n yan eh ibig savhn matalino na… Kaya hindi naunlad pilipinas mascyadong tinatangkilik ang produkto ng ibang bansa, ayaw gumawa ng sariling atin… Hipokrito ang gumawa ng blog n to, mas lalo mo lang pinapababa ang moral ng pilipino…

wOw!, of all the message i have read, (from ate indays story) this is the first time i noticed that ate inday says “ay Ambot” that’s vernacular right? hehehehhe, just an observation…. no meaning…. I just wander if ate inday is also quite poetic in terms of bisaya…..
