Product Endorsement

Hi Inday,
Forgive me if this question was already asked. If ever you were offered to make a TV commercial to endorse a product, would you accept it? And what product would that be?
Thanks and more power.
Melchor,
Interesting query you got there. I would accept a TV commercial to endorse a product if it reflects my lifestyle and the things that might kindle my passion.
A product that I have in mind is my iPod nano. You see, some employers forbid us to turn on the stereo or the television set whenever we clean the house so an iPod is the perfect complement for chambermaids such as me that will confront a toiling day. In fact, if ever I invade the realm of politics, I would pass a law requiring household employers to furnish an iPod (an iPod shuffle would suffice but the latest iPod nano will be much better) to all helpers employed.
Of course, the perfect companion for my iPod are my Shure SE530PTH Sound Isolating Earphones which features a dedicated tweeter and dual woofers to provide balanced, full-bodied bass. Not to mention its Push-To-Hear control to adjust levels of external sound for maximum intelligibility.
Now, I don’t mind endorsing such products.
I hope I satisfied your inquiry.
Sincerely,
Inday

I’m afraid that you are questioning Inday’s fluency in the English language in the wrong way. As a matter of fact, applying elementary grammar, Inday’s letter has no grammatical flaws.
In the phrase “perfect complement for chambermaids such as me” the “me” there is correct. The last word pertains to an object thus you must use the objective case of the first person personal pernoun. Thus, your suggestion is wrong. One can use “I”, only if you want to pertain yourself as the subject of the sentence, remember that “I” is in nominative case.
Thank you.
PS…I really love you Inday!

“some employers forbids”… inday! i’m a big fan! pero may grammar error ka ata! sinusubukan mo lang kami no? kung mapapansin namin? alam ko naman inday na hindi ka maaaring magkamali sa wikang kinasanayan mo. =)
Hey! Inday DID NOT say “forbids”…you added an “S” yourself. Please read her entry again and you’ll see.
“You see, some employers forbid us to turn on the stereo”
Now, that’s what she had written.
