New Header for the New Year

An artistic fan of mine contacted me and wished to bestow a new header for my blog. After seeing his masterpiece, I can’t help but be amazed so I decided to plug it in.
What do you guys think? Many thanks to John Boquiron!

nice I like! fresh and colorful. may mukha na rin yung montemayor family. tapos bumalik sa pagka misteryosa si inday.

hmmm,, for ur info, i applied one of the principles of design on the header i just made.. the EMPHASIS
it is an art principle by which the eye is carried to the most important thing in any arrangement from every other detail in order of its importance..
and one of the ways of the ways of gaining EMPHASIS is by THE USE OF CONTRASTING COLORS..
and FYI again, i choose blue, as my background, and orange for the color the text,,, since BLUE and ORANGE are contrasting colors based on the prang color system..
i think i disagree from ur comment na “halos di na makita ung title ng blog”…
may drafting class po kami,, kahit hayskul palang ako, alam ko na po yan… tsk! peace din! =p

I hope you take this as constructive criticism… no offense pero mukhang nalulunod yung main text sa banner. Blurring it was
not a good idea. Kahit yung background colors mo are not
appealing and seem to take all the attention away from the
main focus which is the title. Yung sihouette ni Inday feels like an “afterthought” too. It does not even match the other character’s style.
I’m a graphic designer. Just throwing in my 2 centavos

i *still* don’t like it. especially the nose-bleeding family. dreadful
in fact, i like the previous banner better, and i didn’t like that as well.
i say we bring back the first banner.
