Isang hapon ay lumabas si Mr. Montemayor para bumili ng internet prepaid card sa sari-sari store dahil nawalan sila ng DSL connection at kelangan nyang mag-email.
Pagdating nya sa tindahan ay nakita sya ni Ethan na nagtetext habang kumakain ng bananacue.
Ethan: Sir! Magandang hapon po. Ako nga pala si Ethan, yung kaibigan ni Inday.
Mr. Montemayor: Ahh ok. Gandang hapon din. Ka-text mo si Inday?
Ethan: Ahh, hindi po sir. Nag-susurf lang ako dito sa cellphone ko, checheck ng balita.
Mr. Montemayor: (nabigla) Ahh… ok… galing ah. Sige.
Kumatok sya sa tindahan at lumapit ang tindera.
Tindera: Ano po yun?
Mr. Montemayor: Meron ba kayong prepaid internet card? Yung 100 pesos lang, bigyan mo ako yung mabilis at mabenta.
Tindera: Ahh meron po sir. Pero kung gusto niyo mabilis talaga, nag-ooffer din kami ng Airborne Access prepaid card. Aabot naman yung wifi namin sa bahay ninyo kasi may mga booster antennas naman kami. Kelangan niyo lang ng computer or laptop na may wifi adapter. 100 lang rin sir para sa 60 minutes.
Mr. Montemayor: (laglag ang panga) Ahh sige, pwede siguro yan. Samahan mo na rin ng isang Cheers softdrink.
Tumambay muna si Mr. Montemayor sa tindahan habang inuubos ang softdrink nang may dumaang maglalako.
Maglalako: (sumisigaw) Hoppppp… Hopppp… HopiaManiPopcornDomainNamesatWebHostinggg…
Nasamid si Mr. Montemayor sa kanyang iniinom.

Yes, well, if you take those words literally. He/She can critic however he/she likes, but HEY!!!’s comments/opinions/whatever are so terribly unnecessary that it isn’t conducive at all to a good discussion about the differences in the opinions of the people that read and comment in this blog.
Constructive criticism is still something good, since it helps to better something.
But I do agree with you that the comments are somewhat hilarious. Heh…

No offense pero sa tingin ko ang creators ng
blogsite na ‘to ang gumagawa ng paraan para
magkaroon pa rin ng visitors ang site nila.
Kasi, noong nagcomment ako tungkol sa grammar
minsan at may mga kumontra
i think it made a good effect dahil may traffic na ang site.
Pero, i swear nung tinigilan ko ang pagbabasa at pagcomment as i observed this site ay parang hindi na ganoon kapatok sa ilan, one of them is me. But still, no offense guys. In fairness, nakikita ko talaga kung gaano ipaglalaban at iaangat ng mga pilipino ang kapwa niya pilipino. English is overrated Hey. Sooner or later the Chinese language and the Indian language would be far more influential than stupid english. But for now it is important.
But the stupidity of your accusations is beyond me. How could this blog be the reason for some pinoy’s ineptness in english? I don’t understand present some empirical proof.
Geesh, if you’re good in english but the way you reason is like that your lost, very lost. I’m afraid that a far worse diseas you have, to have no humor and to not have the right sense of mind.

you’re saying that this website is what makes Filipinos think that English is hard to study..
uhh.. i say you’re wrong..
basically, when a person is reading something, and encounters a ‘foreign’ English word.. his/her first instinct will be to find out what that ‘foreign’ English word means… and unless that person is lazy or lacks initiative, he/she will most likely look the meaning of the word up somewhere.. in order to fully take in the context of what he/she is reading..
and when that person looks up the meaning of that ‘foreign’ English word, his/her vocabulary is then enhanced..
which then enriches his/her skills in English..
Get my point here? Hope you do..
